Microsoft’s fixing this annoying Windows 11 fault

Windows 11 has brought some great features for businesses, and Microsoft is working to make it even better.

One area that’s been frustrating? The Recommendations feature in the Start menu. If you’ve ever clicked it expecting something useful—only to get random, irrelevant suggestions—you’re not alone.

The good news? A fix is on the way.

The Recommendations feature is supposed to suggest apps, files, or websites based on what you use most. In theory, it should surface the files you were working on yesterday or the apps you use during the day.

But so far? It’s been more miss than hit.

Now, Microsoft is rolling out an update (currently in testing) that actually improves these suggestions. Early feedback says it’s finally working the way it should—bringing up relevant files, frequently used apps, and making navigation faster.

If you’ve been ignoring this part of the Start menu, it might finally be worth a second look.

Are you and your team making the most of Windows 11’s productivity features? If not, now’s a good time to start.
